How to list tags? [message #717074] Fri, 19 August 2011 04:23 Go to next message

Hi,

I'm just getting started with the JGit API, in hope to include it to our own project.

I'd like to tag a revision, and then, after a few more commits, lookup that tag (RevTag) by name so I can restore the tagged revision.
But I'm confused about how to get a list of existing tags or lookup up a particular one. I can create a tag but then how can I make use of it?

If anyone can shed some light on this it would be quite helpful.

Thanks,
Arjun

We don't have anything in master yet, but you can take a look at a changeset currently in review if you want to look at how the command would work.
