Hi,

I was looking for the *.ecore file which was used to create the XSD-editor.
Since XSD is EMF based I guessed there must be an ecore-model which the
editor is build on.

Is it available for anybody, and when this is the case, where can I find
it ?
On the other side, is my guess wrong and there is no such file ?

I'm part of a project team at the technical university of berlin and we are
are developing our own modeling tools (among other things a XML editor)
based
on GMF. Since XSD fits nearly our requirements, we are very interested in
the
ecore metamodell file.

Thanks in advance,

Tim Broemme

It's org.eclipse.xsd/model/XSD.ecore.

Yes, though unfortunately xsd.edit and xsd.editor were generated before
EMF itself was open sourced in its present form and hence neither is
currently being regenerated. Some time I'll need to work on that...
