Hello,
I'm looking for help to create a working update site.
I tried to do it with Eclipse (3.6.1, I'm bound to this version at the moment) but there is this bug with the categories and I tried to follow the workaround mentioned here (cannot use links yet - sorry for adding it as code):

Running the P2 update site publisher gives me the following output:
Generating metadata for ..
Status ERROR: org.eclipse.equinox.p2.artifact.repository code=0 java.lang.NullPointerException

What does this error message tell?
When running both steps, I end up with artifacts.jar, contents.jar, plugins-folder, features-folder and my application (based on Eclipse) does not find anything in this location when I add it as update site... So I guess, it's not created correctly.
Can anybody help?
I'm pretty new to the whole field, I hope I could explain my problem...

Hello,
I could solve my problem.
1. mistake: the dash in front of "source" was missing
2. mistkae: I tried to run it on an update site, which was created with Eclipse but not build...
Now it works.
