Hi,
I've installed the BIRT 2.1.0 zip (1) for TPTP 4.2.0 (as recommended
at bottom of (2)) to enable reporting from the <tptp:publication> ant
task and I noticed that on startup the Error Log is reporting a number
of errors installing BIRT bundles. For example:

Error
Mon Jun 12 12:09:49 BST 2006
Plugin does not have a valid version:
plugins/org.eclipse.datatools.modelbase.sql_0.9.0.200605101/

Error
Mon Jun 12 12:09:49 BST 2006
Plugin does not have a valid version:
plugins/org.eclipse.datatools.modelbase.sql.xml.query_0.9.0. 200605101/

Presumably these plugins are coming from DTP, and looking at the
offending plugin folders, they do seem to be missing Manifest files.
Has anyone else noticed this? Should TPTP be using a revised BIRT/DTP
distribution?

The DTP modelbase plugins, as included in the BIRT N20060530 build, are
indeed incomplete. The BIRT build should not have included these DTP
modelbase plugins in the first place.
They are no longer included since the BIRT 20060602 build.

A work-around is to manually remove all the DTP modelbase plugins from
your installation, since they are not used by BIRT.

Or, if you want to get the complete DTP plugins, download the version
distributed by DTP download page or the Callisto update site.
