pdt color scheme for php code [message #706362] Sun, 31 July 2011 02:52 Go to next message

Hi Everyone,

I'm currently working on a project where I have php files with shtml extension. As a result, pdt displays the php code in gray... I was wondering if there's a way to apply the default php color scheme without changing file extension.

Thanks for your help.

A strange thing happens when I go to file associations menu and tell it to associate shtml files with php editor - it tells me content type is unsupported. I am able however to use the php editor for files whose extension is php.I can still associate shtml with other editors (such as java for example), but I would like to work with php's color scheme...

It seems that even when I make html files open in a php editor, the php default color scheme isn't applied because of the file extension. Is there any way to solve this without changing the file extension each and every time?

Thanks.

I also have Aptana studio installed btw, is it related to the problem?

Aptana Studio has its own set of themes, this is probably the issue. Try changing the Aptana theme in Window > Preferences > Aptana Studio > Themes.
