Customize a Dialog Window [message #696677] Thu, 14 July 2011 11:00 Go to next message

Hello all,

under Papyrus 0.7.3 i've managed to customize the following dialog window:

org.eclipse.papyrus.properties.runtime.dialogs.ReferenceExplorerDialog

now, i need to make the same customization under Papyrus 0.8.0.

The problem lies in the fact that it seems that this ReferenceExplorerDialog is not used anymore and that it has been replaced by another dialog (at least graphically it's different).
So, my question is: Is there anyone who knows which class this "new" dialog is? It would be very helpful to know, thanks.

regards,
Nicholas

Hello,
I do not have the answer, but I may have the solution to find the answer...
If you have opened the dialog, you will be able to find which class is implementing it by typing
ALT+SHIFT+F1
This works everywhere in Eclipse, so do not hesitate to use it anywhere else.
(another usefull shortcut is ALT+SHIFT+F2 for actions which are executed by clicking. I allows you to make right click first.)

Vincent.

Thanks for your help Vincent,
I wasn't aware of this feature, it really put me on the right direction.
