Software Acumen, based in Cambridge, England is now distributing the |
pure::variants Eclipse plug-in in the UK and Ireland.
pure::variants, created by German company pure-systems GmbH, allows
organisations developing multiple variants of the same software to
efficiently model and manage the differences between these variants i.e.
it allows developers to set up and operate a Software Product Line - much
like a factory assembly line, but for software.
Once a software product line has been created new software variants can be
automatically produced by specifying values for the different variable
features. The software manages any conflicts in the user's feature
