how to use rptlibrary in resource folder [message #671000] Mon, 16 May 2011 09:57 Go to next message

I want to create a table in rptlibrary file and copy it to my report, then when I change the table in rptlibrary, the table in the rptdesign file in my report will also change correspondingly, but I don't know how to use it.
I try to copy the table im my rptlibrary file and paste it to my new rptdesign file, but when I add a image in the table of my rptlibrary file, the table in my rptdesign file cannot change corresponding (that is, still has no image).
So is this possible and how to do it?

My birt designer version is 2.2.1

thanks in advance.

Is the library in the resource folder? If it is all you should have to
do is change the library and then re-open the report that uses the
library. If it is not there is a right click option to publish the
library to a resource folder.
