I made the report, with the data source and dataset all right.
When i preview the report it works perfectly, but when i try to run it on birt viewer i get this exception:

I'm using Jaybird to do the JDBC connection.

What can i do to fix this?

Where did you get the driver? Do you have the same driver in the
designer and the deployed viewer?

In the designer if you use the toolbar "View Report in WebViewer" do you
get the error?

No, i only get the error when trying to use the BIRT Viewer.

The viewer in the designer is essentially the same app that is deployed.
What app server are you using? My guess would be that your app server
is using a different jvm than the designer.

That is fine, but what is your JAVA_HOME environment variable set to?
