I uninstalled the PHP IDE feature from Eclipse 3.6 because it conflicted with a new feature that I wanted to install and I don't
need any PHP capability right now, anyway.

BUt when I now try to restart Eclipse I only get an error message "An error has occured ..." and that I should look into a specific
..log file. I append that log file's content below.

If I interpret that right, then in essence it seems to be missing the feature that I just uninstalled. What can I do to re-animate
this crashed Eclipse installation? I normally need/use Eclipse as a Java IDE. Why does uninstalling the PHP feature leave it dead
and rotten?

Michael

Did you add this to your command line?

-product org.eclipse.epp.package.php.product

That says you need to be running the php product, which you uninstalled.

How did you uninstall php?
