Problem with GMF editor embedded in SharedHeaderFormEditor. [message #661396] Thu, 24 March 2011 10:13 Go to next message

I created a GMF diagram editor that's embedded in a SharedHeaderFormEditor. I use the header for displaying messages, warnings and error to the user.

The main area "MultiPageEditorPart" has 2 pages.
The GMF diagram editor occupied the first page of the FormEditor.

All operations in the diagram and palette work fine

However some of the actions in the context menu are grayed out.
Also some buttons on the toolbar are grayed out.

Any ideas what might be causing this. And how I may fix it.

Note that before embedding the diagram none of these issues existed

Hi, I'm trying to do a shared editor domain across several diagram editors, I've been following this forums:

http://wiki.eclipse.org/Graphical_Modeling_Framework/Tips#Sh aring_single_EditingDomain_instance_across_several_diagrams
http://code.google.com/p/gmftools/wiki/SharedEditingDomain

but I cant get it!. Can you say to me if you've used any walkthough to do it? i think it's similar to mine. thanks
