Currently the xls emitter does not support charts and images.

BIRT Excel Emitter doesn't support Chart.
Use TRIBIX open source excel emitter which does, but we didn't like the row and column formatting in tribix.

This is insane from BIRT guys that they don't even provide chart image as part of emitter.

They are asking us to use their commercial version instead.
