How to attach connections to fixed points on a shape [message #659965] Wed, 16 March 2011 08:25 Go to next message

Hello,

I would like to know if there is any possible way to attach connections to a fixed point on a shape.
What I am trying to do is to create e.g. 4 point on a shape, where connections can be attached, which are fixed. These points should not be visible to the user. I tried to do such a thing with BoxRelativeAnchor, but connections seem to need ChopboxAnchors to be able to connect shapes.

I hope you can help me.

Best Regards
Rainer

Well, in fact there is a class FixPointAnchor that should actually enable
that. Place these anchors on the edge of your shape, use either no or an
invisible graphics algorithm for visualization and you should have that
behavior.
