LogReaderService for Virgo [message #658302] Mon, 07 March 2011 13:56 Go to next message

Hi,

I would like to see some logging output from some bundles that utilize OSGI compendium logging . By default, it appears that a LogReaderService is not started in Virgo.

I have found some blogs describing how to roll your own logging solution in osgi containers. Would seem that the ideal for Virgo would be to have an LogReaderService adapter that would use the included logback-based logging.

Is there an "official" way for the LogReaderService to be hooked up to Virgo's Logback logging?

Thanks

Marco

I'm not sure, but presumably you could write such an adapter and have it use the normal slf4j API which will then feed into logback as usual.
