Hello,
Is it correct that the tutorial is licensed under the EPL?
Does it mean that when I use the tutorial to start my own project that it must also be under the EPL and I have to put the copyright notes from SAP into my source code?
Regards,
Ralph

Ralph,
I'm not a laywer, so I can't really answer this. Fact is that we publish the
tutorial via Eclipse so we need to publish it under the EPL.
You might have a look into the EPL itself, section 3 might be of special
interest to you. There is also a legal page at Eclipse.org
(http://www.eclipse.org/legal/) that offers an FAQ. If all that does not
fully answer your question, you might also contact the Eclipse legal
department at license@eclipse.org; they will gladly offer their support for
such questions.
