Hello All,

Can someone explain me why I have "p2" directory and "artifacts.xml" file created in the place where I run eclipse even if I specify "-configuration" option?

I thought that p2 and artifacts.xml must be located under the path specifed with "-configuration" parameter.

Thanks in advance!

Vasily.

Hmm...

Yesterday I thought that I am going mad...

Anyway I found an answer to my question.

May be the information will be useful and someone can save some time...

Example, you start eclipse with
-configuration <some_path>/FolderA/FolderB/FolderC
option.

In that case FolderC will contain Configuration locations contain files which identify and manage the (sub)set of an install to run.(c)

And FolderB will contain "p2" folder and "artifacts.xml" file. I tried to find documentation regarding that but failed.

So, no magic here.

Vasily.
