It happened to work on some tickets interesting the same files so to avoid
having to reopen them all when activating a new ticket, i momentarily
disabled the "Manage open editor to match task contents" checkbox so that
i could easily prime the context of newly activated tickets very easily.

Using the approach of "least surprise" i was assuming that the function of
that option was only to say to mylyn to don't open and close editors on
ticket activation/deactivation, but i was assuming the information about
opened editors would be anyway included into the context saved within the
ticket and i could recover it later after reenabling that option.

Unfortunately i discovered that even if i reenable the checkbox the
information about the opened editors is gone (it looks that if that option
is disabled the opened editors list is not saved at all) and i've not been
able to find a way to reopen all the editor in a single action from the
retrieved context.

I'm a missing something?

Thanks, Gabriele
