Apply "Optional Y series Grouping" only on one series [message #634441] |

Hi,
I'm trying to build a chart in BIRT with two (Y) series, one category in the X axis (), and another category in the optional Y series grouping. The problem is that I only want to apply the optional Y series grouping to one of the series; the other series shouldn't be grouped, summing up all the values disregarding the second category.
From what I can tell, this isn't possible using only graphical interface when defining the chart: when I specify the optional Y series grouping, both series are grouped as one would expect. Is it possible to implement a chart with these characteristics any other way?
Thanks in advance!

Currently all series in a chart must have the same number of category
points. So I do not think this is possible.
