Hi Nebula-Users,
I guess many of you are not following the dev list but there are some
upcoming changes on the structure of Nebula.
a) On Restructuring
----------------
We decide to split nebula from a project point of view into 2 projects.
One with widget working towards a Nebula 1.0 release in Q2 2011 and
those still need incubation time.
b) On Releasing
---------------
After a) has happened we'll start the process of releaseing Nebula 0.9
with the set of components who'll go for 1.0.
c) On Version-Control
---------------------
The nebula-devs decided that we'll switch from CVS to Git. I think this
is a very interesting thing for you and us and I highly appreciate that
our developers decided to move to git.
d) On Build
-----------
As some of you already noticed there are currently no downloads
available and we are really sorry about this but our builds got broken
out of a sudden and we decided not to invest our small volunteer
resources to fix the build but to resetup our build from scratch by
moveing away from athena.
We are currently working on a maven-tycho infrastructure so that our
build is hopefully not broken in future anymore. We are sorry about the
inconvenience but it's been the only possibility for now.
I think a) and b) are major steps forward in the history of Nebula and
puts many of you in a better position when using Nebula components in
your projects.
We naturally appreciate any feedback
Tom Schindl - Nebula-Project-Lead

Hi Mike,
I'm only the Project Lead and have no really knowlegde about XViewer but
I'll bring this up on the dev-mailing list because for Compontents
taking part in the release answering user questions is a must have.
