Problems with file transfer over XMPP [message #624450] |

Hi,
I'm using Ganymede SR1 and ECF with XMPP (Open Fire) to send a file. Other
things, like sending a message, URL, screen shots and even shared editing works.
The idea is sending a file to sync before shared editing.
The error message states that the provided user id was not fully qualified.

OK, thanks.
I just tried out the file transfer on the current version of the ECF
source (i.e. HEAD/ECF 3.0) and it worked fine.
Would you be willing to get/build the source for
org.eclipse.ecf.provider.xmpp (and dependents) and running it in your
environment to attempt to reproduce? If you are unable to reproduce
then I suspect that the problem you were experiencing with 2.0.100 was
due to an issue with the resource part of the XMPPID, which I've
recently done a fair amount to as per this bug:
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=246155
The ecf projects are available in CVS and instructions for accessing
them is available here
http://www.eclipse.org/ecf/dev_resources.php
Thanksinadvance.
