That image looks like the Help UI running in Basic UI mode. It is the
Advanced UI mode that gives the richer UI abilities (expand/collapse, etc).
The help system will show in Basic UI if the available browser is not an
advanced browser such as Firefox/Mozilla (or IE on Windows).
On Linux, Eclipse should be using the Mozilla widget. Somehow, it
doesn't look like that is working on your system.
You can try specifying "use external browser" in the Preferences - Help,
as another poster suggested. With that setting, Eclipse will try to find
your defined system browser and use it, and if it is Firefox/Mozilla,
then you'll get the advanced UI.
I'm adding eclipse.platform.ua newsgroup to this thread, as that
newsgroup covers the help system.
