Ho to detect headless failure [message #604853]

I have a custom script, which execute the <eclipse.buildScript> for a plugin.

After that i run 'ant clean' and then 'ant build.update.jar'.

If for some reason the compile fails, I still end up with a jar file, but with the compile log instead.

What is the best way to detect if a compilation fails?
