I am the founder and President at Rally Software Development. We provide
an on-Demand solution for managing the entire Agile Lifecycle. We joined
the EPF Proposal to share our learnings in hopes of driving Agile adoption
through a open and shared defintion. Our learnings come from building and
hosting a software service that provides Agile Project and Program
managment capabilities that suppport XP, SCRUM, FDD and RUP practices for
managing user stories, use cases, test cases, defects and tasks.
I believe the collaboration with IBM, Object Mentor, Number Six, UBC and
others will help shape an open process model for Agile that helps the
community grow, interact with CMMI and shape SPEM 2.0. We also hope to
help in driving the itegration from the Eclipse Process Framework tool
into project run-time environments like Rally.
This is important work to do in an open standards way. Hats off to IBM for
driving and contributing so gratiously.
