MS Excel like spreadsheet features [message #598921] Thu, 28 January 2010 01:18 Go to next message

I wanted to support the MS Excel features in my RCP app. Features like 'Auto Filter'. I saw the nebula grid, but it doesn't support the excel like auto filter.

Is there any other framework based on eclipse or jface or swt which gives excel like spreadsheat features?

I do not want to add MS Excel itself as an ActiveX component.

Any help is appreciated.

You can emulate the AUTO-Filter feature very easily with
GridViewer+Header-Controls who are supported since some time in
Nebula-Grid (I've written an extension for a customer of mine some time
back which allows them to setup an excel grid (autofiltering,
auto-sorting, ...) in about 10 lines of code + one line for every column
added ).
