getCellSelectionCount on nebula grid returns zero [message #584849]

view ,my another view which is developed using nebula grid viewer gets
populated with data.However when i select a cell on the view ,the function
getCellselectionCount() returns zero and iam getting strange errors due

NOTE: When i use the view individually ,i.e with out any perspective and
not having any interactions with other widgets,the function
getCellSelectionCount ()returns correctly..!

Why is it behaving in a strange manner..?Can any one guide my to penetrate
through this matter..?
