When installing Eclipse on a Windows machine, does there need to be any
consideration for existing environment variables?

For example, I have a vaiable "classpath" with the value "C:\Program
Files\Java\j2re1.4.2_08\lib\ext\QTJava.zip". I do not know why that value
was set so I don't want to remove things that may not need to be removed.

What should I be looking for to assure a coordinated environment?
