Hi,
I gather that most of the focus of this project is to develop Eclipse-based
software tools for writing speech-friendly applications.
However, some of us have an interest in a different goal: enabling
developers to write code by voice. To date many of these efforts have
focused around Emacs, but given Eclipse's rich and powerful architecture it
would be nice to develop native Eclipse functionality.
Here's some info:

Here's the leading-edge project, IMO:

Here's some older work that I did:

Despite having introduce this topic here, I'm less involved in this area
than I used to be, but I wanted to provide some awareness of
programming-by-voice to the voicetools developers.
Another related area is insuring that Eclipse itself is voice-friendly, i.e.
that most aspects of Eclipse can be controlled by voice. In most cases,
this is equivalent to requiring that all functionality be available via
keyboard rather than requiring mouse input.
