AJDT 1.1.1 breaks 2.1RC2 on OS X hard... [message #564723] Mon, 17 March 2003 05:28
Eclipse UserFriend
I just installed it using the update manager. After restarting Eclipse,
things immediately got strange. There were two of every view, layered on
top of each other, the one in the back barely visible. Switching to the
Java perspective immediately broke everything. None of the editors could
open, and even the package explorer itself can't open.

What's the best way to repair an installation? I think I'll wait until
the next release :-), so I'll see if I can uninstall it manually. My
immediate concern of course is that my normal non-aspectj dev environment
is broken.

For the record, I'm running OS X 1.2.4, with the release version of JDK
1.4.1 on a 12' powerbook.

Thanks for any help, and I'm looking forward to playing with the next
release!
