Hi,
I've been searching around trying to figure out how to display a server connection status message in the status line of an rcp application. All the forums I have found so far discuss how to get the StatusLineManager reference from a view or editor which does not help me in my case because I want to display my connection status globally regardless of the selected editor or view. Is there a way to get a global StatusLinemanager reference from PlatformUI or another way to set global messages (with icons) to the status line? Thanks - Duncan
