Viewer web.xml being ignored in 2.5.2? [message #546706]

I've been attempting to change $BIRT_HOME/plugins/org.eclipse.birt.report.viewer_2.5.2.v200 91210/birt/WEB-INF/web.xml to point it to my scriptlib directory but it seems to be ignoring my change when I view a report in BIRT. I get lots of errors saying the event handlers can't be found. The same change works fine in BIRT 2.3.2. I've double-checked the directory and the jars in it. Everything is valid. I've tried changing a few other things also, such as the logging level and the max rows but everything seems to be ignored.

Has anyone else done this sort of thing in 2.5.2 and can you confirm if it really is a problem or if I'm imagining things?

Steve,

I thought this bug was already logged but I can not seem to locate it.
I believe it had to do with logging level which you can set in the
viewer.properties. This is not the case for scriptlib. Any chance you
can open a bug for this?

FYI: I think we've decided to work around this by using the project-specific classpath preference.
