What would be the way to use the src.zip files that comes in the plugin-"sources" of gef_3.4.1.v20080806 and draw2d_3.4.2.v20090114-1330 for debugging purposes through source-attachment?
For about all other code there is a xxx.source_yyy.jar available that can be dropped in the plugins-dir, but not of these 2 (at least, I could not find any...)

any ideas?

When you say export as plugin in eclipse...

There is an option for exporting source also...

Select "Generate Source Bundles" and export...

This creates two jar files...
one is the format you specified...
