Symbian Foundation is interested in and potentially interested in contributing to the JSDT proposal

Its goals seem to be very comparable to the Symbian goals of ensuring that mobile web developers have excellent open source tools.

We are currently leveraging JSDT for Web Runtime Tools

Excellent! Are there particular areas you'd like to see worked on, or
are interested in contributing to?

We're especially interested in improving JSDT for mobile web app developers.

So far, we've integrated W3C CSS validation and we've integrated with chromium for previewing and debugging.

And we plan to submit any JSDT bug fixes that we make.
