Hello,
I try to set up environment for remote development of C++ application.
Host: Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.2 Eclipse 3.5.1(Eclipse IDE for C/C++ Developers Mac Cocoa 64bit), CDT 6.0, RSE 3.1.1
Target: Ubuntu 9.10 32bit, rserver 3.1.1
I've been able to create C++ Make project on remote machine and compile it over SSH. Binary is visible in Project Explorer, however Run Configuration don't recognize it(Elf Parser is enabled in Binary Parsers list in Project Properties):
Run Configuration -> C/C++ Remote Application -> C/C++ Application Search Project -> Binaries: list is always empty when using remote project with RSE.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Vladyslav
PS Other irritating issue is that CDT don't recognize RSE paths in Build Configuration and will always fail to build over SSH with message like "(Cannot run program "ssh" (in directory "xxx"): error=2, No such file or directory)" if Build Directory is set to RSE-address. The solution is to place path to project in SSH build command and point Build Directory to some dummy local dir.
