I am now coding the preference page(s) for my app.
I need a kind of multiline string entry.
I know it can be done (there are several pages that do exactly what I
need), but I didn't find anything ready-made.

Nearest thing (I'm using it now) is subclassing
org.eclipse.jface.preference.ListEditor, but that is not the right thing
for me. I need a real "new Text(parent, SWT.MULTI|SWT.BORDER);"

Before I start coding from: "public class MyFieldEditor extends
FieldEditor ..." Is there some reusable standard example I can (re)use?
