Hi Paul,
'Apply profile' action works fine on my platform, and judging by other messages in the forum, it works fine on other people's computers too.
Let's figure out what could happen on your machine.
1) Many people forget to Apply needed Profile first.
When you apply 'Standard' profile do you see 'Apply Stereotype' action? 'Standard' profile is available on any diagram by default.
2) What is in your error log when you open a context menu?
3) You mentioned Papyrus in your message. Do you use UML2Tools or Papyrus?
