Hi,

Is there any good documentation on how to extend the Eclipse Web Page
Editor?

I am looking at the org.eclipse.jst.pagedesigner.pageDesignerExtension
extension point. But there isn't much in the way of extension point
documentation or any other documentation to go by.

The plugin org.eclipse.jst.pagedesigner.jsf.ui provides a contribution
to the above mentioned extension point. It seems to use its own (JSF
specific) EMF ecore model to provide contributions. Not sure if that is
mandated by the pagedesigner extension point or whether the JSF plugin
decided to use that approach internally.

I am looking at doing things like :

* providing additional property sections for a given selection
* accessing / extending the model used by the editor
* providing drag-n-drop support for new objects (dragged from elsewhere
in the IDE)

I am digging deeper through the source code now, but I was wondering if
there is any information available in this regard.

Thanks,
Vasanth
