Hi all,
currently, i cerate my models with an UML2 tool and let them convert to
an Ecore with UML2 subset capabilities by using the UML2 importer for
Ecore models. During this step, the UML2 genmodel will be chosen
automatically.
But, is it possible to start with an ordinary Ecore model with these
additional EAnnotations for subset and unions etc. and just switch the
EMF genmodel to UML2 genmodel? I've tried to just adopt the genmodel
model with the UML2 namespace, uri etc., but this doesn't lead to success.
The only working workflow i've identified is to export the annotated
Ecore model to UML2 model and reimport it afterwards. You can see that
this is very cumbersome, since it has no positive effect for me. I can
stay with my current UML2 model first approach.
Ist it possible to start with an Ecore model, but addressing the UML2
capabilites and have all those subset/union lists generated in the code?!
Thanks a lot
Timothy
