How to make different file name in common navigator? [message #489802] Tue, 06 October 2009 03:11

Hi all,

I am using Common Navigator Framework. I hook my own content provider and
label provider to files with certain extension to build hierarchy tree
under this file in common navigator. My question is how to change the name
of the file itself? I defined IResource in my triggerPoints and my content
provider getChildren is called for IProjects as well as IFiles but my
label provider never gets called for IFiles so I can provide different
name (based on the file content) to this file. How can I make my label
provider be called by CNF for IFile objects? I need to remove file
extension from the view and have the file name be derived from the file
content.

Thank you,
Igor
