Hello everybody,

my problem is: I work under Linux, and I use SCIM (platform for input of
non latin chars) with my own JAVA program. SCIM has a lookup table,
which appears if I type a key on an english keyboard, so that I can choice
a
chinese word.

the problem is that this lookup table sticks always at the same position on
the screen(not under the input field), no matter where the input field is.
(I know that SCIM has a option for it, I haven't checked it.)

SCIM works fine with GTK programs. I have seen that SCIM works also fine
with Eclipse, but not with Jedit.

So I'd like to ask the guys here, how you solve the problem.

thanks a lot.
