I am using eclipse v3.4. In eclipse.ini file, I put
-Dorg.Eclipse.equinox.p2.reconciler.dropins.directory=D:\sof ts\dropins

The plugins under d:\softs\dropins folder are not picked up and installed
in eclipse.

If I put the pluings under eclipseHome/eclipse/dropins, then they are
picked up and installed by eclipse.

Could anyone please tell what's wrong with the -D option?
