Apologies if this has been dealt with elsewhere but I couldn't find it.

I've been having serious trouble with a report running in the birt-viewer
on Linux.

We are using Debian, MySql and BIRT runtime 2.5.0 runnng in Tomcat 5.5. I
have isolated the issue to BIRT not liking a TEXT datatype returned in a
mysql query. This query works within eclipse on windows, within tomcat on
windows but not within tomcat on linux???

Is this a known issue? Is there a missing dependancy?

The jdbc driver is identical, java version is identical, tomcat version is
identical, birt runtime is identical on the windows and linux OS. As
stated it works on windows but on linux it errors.

Can anyone help?

Jon

Jon,

What is it returning on Linux? Did you get anything in the log file?
