Is it possible to replace the "Default Text Editor" [message #478710]

Hi,

The Default Text Editor in Eclipse is too simple, I want my text
editor replace it, is it possible? If not possible, How can I register
my text editor for all files if "extensions" or "filenames" attribute
in "org.eclipse.ui.editors" does not accept "*"?
