In the Class Diagram palette there are different icons/symbols for
Association, Generalization etc. but if I expand the Association item
the three items underneath that, Shared Aggregation, Composite
Aggregation and Navigable Association all have the same symbol/icon.
Similarly for the things under Dependency. Is this a bug or working as
designed?

Thank you for noticing the problem, John,
I've submitted bug #264507 'Palette: Defferent icons for different kinds
of Association'. You can track it for the update.
