Hi Kristinn,
What kinds of design-time metadata are you speaking of? Thru metadata
you can control:
- palette
- tag creation
- tag conversion (design-time rendering)
- content assist
- validation
- properties view
- other
The JSF Tools Developer Guide in Help will be a good place to start.
Also, take a look at the metadata supplied in the
org.eclipse.jst.jsf.standard.tagsupport plugin.
If you have specific questions, please continue to post to this newsgroup.

Hi,
Please note that the JSF Tools team is currently focused on support for
JSF-JSP tags in WPE. We don't have the resources to provide full support
for JSP, HTML tags beyond what exists today. With that caveat aside, we
will review and guide you to use the metadata framework to add support for
the Stripes framework.
Thanks
