Apply Stereotype to Class [message #474456] Tue, 01 July 2008 18:06 Go to next message

Hi, I have been testing lastest um2tools version (Ganymede). After
creating a class in the UML Class editor I try to apply a stereotype but I
can not find the way to do that. In the context menu there is no "Apply
Steretype" option as
http://wiki.eclipse.org/MDT_1.0_New_and_Noteworthy#Stereotyp es shows.
How should I do it?
Thanks

I must be stupid!
Here there is the solution for guys like me:

0. Create the profile
0.1 Create a new UML file by selecting the project main node:
right click, New-> Other -> Example EMF Model Creation Wizards-> UML Model
0.2 Select PROFILE as Model Object
0.3 Add a Stereotype to the profile
0.4 Go to YOUR_MODEL.uml file by double clicking on it.
0.5 Right click on your model, select Load Resource and then select the
uml file with the profile.

1. Apply the profile to the package
1.1- Right click on class diagram
1.2- Select 'Apply Profile' option in context menu
1.3- Select one of the profiles

2. Apply the profile to the class
2.1 Right click on Class, select Apply Stereotype, select the steretype.
