tptpFileTransferAgent.exe broken? [message #46487] Wed, 14 December 2005 01:41 Go to next message

I have just downloaded agntctrl.win_ia32.sdk-TPTP-4.2.0-200512130100.zip and the FileTransferAgent doesn't work anymore. I have tried it with both a Java and C++ client.
Using the MyFileTransferClient sample, it successfully does the getFile and deleteFile, but hangs on the putFile. The resultant big_local.txt is only 32K (my big_simple.txt is 92K).

Replacing the FileTransferAgent with the one from release 4.1.0 gives the same results, so it looks like the real problem is elsewhere.

btw The reason I'm using this latest build is for a recent fix to TPTPProcessController.exe (command line arguments were ignored) but that doesn't work either, the arguments are still not passed on.

Any workarounds would be appreciated.

Thanks for the nudge with the pointer to the file transfer problem. You
pushed us into discovering we had a problem sooner rather than later.
The fix (backing out an overly aggresive change) is on the way, I
understand. Our apologies, and again, thanks.

I'm not sure what the status is on the Java client command line argument
passing... Guru will probably chime in on that side of things.

Oops, you and Guru already made further headway on a prior thread.
That's what I get for reading bottom to top! Sorry about that.
