Hi all,
Please forgive the off-topic post...
I'm a committer on Epsilon, part of the GMT project. We're contemplating
developing some new plug-ins using JRuby. We were wondering if anyone
working on the DLTK project knows about the licensing issues surrounding
JRuby, and releasing plug-ins through Eclipse that contain JRuby code.
Specifically, what is the IP process for JRuby code? How do we manage
the dependency on JRuby? Do we need to bundle JRuby as part of our
feature, or should we depend on the DLTK project?

Hi,
DLTK uses only subset of JRuby classes (parser), the IP process for it
was covered by https://dev.eclipse.org/ipzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1137
I suppose you need new & full JRuby, so dependency on DLTK is not an
option here. Probably it makes sense to make jruby available from Orbit.
