using subversive [message #36387] Sat, 01 November 2008 05:46 Go to next message

Hi,

I recently installed the subversive plugin. I'm relatively new to svn and
this is my first attempt to use an SVN client plugin within eclipse.

I've a repository setup at http://svn.<mydomain>.com . I wish to put each
project in its own folder at this repository. I've a project called
'svntest' in Eclipse.

I begin by right clicking it and then choosing Team > Share Project.. >
SVN .. After providing all the prefs and choosing Repository layout as
Single Project Layout, when I click finish, after some processing it fails
with an error that says "svn: No part of path /svntest was found in
repository HEAD"

Am i missing something ?

thanks,

regards,
Puneet

UPDATE:

I moved the repository in a subfolder on the url so its now located at
http://svn.<mydomain>.com/svn/

and it all works perfect in this case ? .. is this a known bug ?

I decided to do this experiment upon reading this thread:
http://forums.polarion.org/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=253&p =1409

that was an old bug but seems to have been solved now !

thanks

Hello Puneet,

Could you please provide more info such as what Eclipse version, Subversive
version, svn connector do use? Can you browse your repository?
Please, try to perform to commit using other SVN Connector, you can change
svn connectors at Preferences/Team/SVN in SVN Connector tab.
