I've been trying to report the fact that my Eclipse will no longer start after upgrading to 2024-03. I've created a post here under CDT, noting it says it's unlikely to be read, it's simply the only place I've been able to. In github, I have no idea where to post such an issue, I don't recognize any of 285 repositories, not that I read them all and Bugzilla won't let me login, but when I click forgotten password, I get a 404 error reported on a page that says I'm logged in!

Any suggestions as to how best to report this problem much appreciated.

Edit: I eventually got into Bugzilla, where it gave me a link to github (!) so I've just created an issue under "platform" - I have no idea if that's appropriate.

Unfortunately there area great many projects involved in producing the pacakges. This prototype report that I generate has lots of links to those projects:

But even the links to the projects will often send you astray into Bugzilla land.

If you follow the links to the git repositories, most will have issues where you can report issues, e.g.,

https://github.com/eclipse-cdt/cdt

I don't know if your problem is like that. Stack traces from the error log in <workspace>/.metadata/.log will be essential to figure out what's going on. I suggest deleting that file before trying again so that the log only contains new entries from the attempt to start the IDE.
