Hi,
I am trying to create a genmodel for my ecore model. But "Select a Model Importer" dialogue does not show any option and the list of "Model Importers:" is empty.
It was working at the start but then I spent most of my efforts on using EOL, EGL, ETL with the default tree editor. Now, I need to work with Sirius and for that I have to work with runtime Eclipse editor.

I have tried to create a genmodel with a different project but still the Model Importer does not show anything. Is there any issue with my workspace?

Regards,
Ehsan

How have you set up your Epsilon installation? Have you installed Epsilon on top of an Eclipse Modeling distribution?

Can you provide a minimal working example that reproduces your problem?

I installed Epsilon on top of Eclipse Modeling distribution. Then I installed Sirius 7.1.1 as well.
I am using Eclipse Version: 2023-06 (4.28.0), Build id: 20230608-1333.

Dear Antonio,
Attached is the minimum working example. Please note the followings;
1. Folder metamodels contains the emf and ecore models
2. Folder models has models bases on above metamodels
3. Folder m2t has EGL and EGX files for code generation
4. Folder codegen4dsuits has the generated java files

I am trying to create genmodel for any ecore in metamodels folder but Select a Model Importer dialogue is empty and does not show any option (e.g, EMF model).

I am using
- Eclipse IDE for Java Developers 4.28.0.20230608-1200
- Epsilon core 2.4.0.202203041826,
- Emfatic 1.0.0.202103051329
- Sirius 7.1.1.202306201521

I have tried creating genmodel for a simple ecore within in fresh workspace but it still did not work and the Model Importer dialogue is still empty.

Firs you said you where using an Eclipse Modeling distribution, but in your last post you say you are using clipse IDE for Java Developers . Which one is it? If you are using Eclipse IDE for Java Developers, then you also need to install the EMF SDK.

Hi,
Thank you all for your responses. The problem is resolved by re-installing Eclipse Modeling Tools and then Epsilon, Emfatic, and Sirius on top of it.

Somehow, (in my mind) I mixed up my installations of Eclipse IDE for Java Developers and the Eclipse Modeling distribution.

Thank you all.
